A Quick Card!

Just a quick post tonight as I am having another really busy week,  I did have time to make this Christmas card, as you can see another Tag card but I have turned it on its side this time.  I am adding this to the current Hero Arts Challenge and the "Anything Goes " Challenge over at the Simon Says Blog.

Don't you just love this cute snowman!!!

Another Tag Card

I really love my job working in a school, I love working with the children (they are aged 7 to 11) and I am sure working there keeps me young but there is one drawback.  Sickness and colds spread so quickly, well I have had my first cold of the season and have felt rough for a few days now, I have not felt like visiting blogs but I promise I will try and catch up!!

I have got a few cards to share with you, the first is another tag Christmas card using the lovely Peacock Distress ink as a background again. the Holly is an old Hero Arts stamp that I have coloured and coated with Glossy Accents,

I have had two friend ask me to make cards and I though I would share them, as you can see the top one is for a lovely old lady who has reached 100, the request was for a CAS card.

Apologies for the photograph here but it was taken at night.

Hope you are enjoying your weekend and thanks for taking time to visit.

Christmas tag cards

It seems to have been ages since I have had time to make some cards, I have started back to work with a bang, its been exceptionally busy and crafting has taken a back seat.
At last today, I have had a few hours to myself and have set about making a few Christmas cards and entry's for the latest Hero Arts Challenge..  The Postcard stamp from Hero Arts makes a lovely shape card and I have made three using it.  The first two have a distressed background that I have splattered with water, I love this Peacock blue. I was lucky enough to win this older Christmas Flourish Tree stamp and have embossed it in white and also gold for the second card. This card I am going to enter in the Moxie Fab World "All that Glitters is Gold"  Challenge. (Thanks for the heads up Lin.)

The last card is very CAS and I have just added some sparkle with gems and stickles.

I am hoping things have quietened down a bit now and I can get back into my craft room again!

Christmas Snowman

I am now back to work after the summer holidays and it has come very hard this week after 6 glorious
weeks off.  The weather in the UK has been amazing but now I am thinking about starting my Christmas cards as I usually have to make about 60!!
I love this cute snowman stamp from Hero Arts and as I have the die as well I decided to make my own embossing folder after seeing ones that Cathy had made earlier in the year.

Here is a close up so you can see the effect, I am really pleased with this and will be trying it with other dies!

Hope you are enjoying your weekend
